Surround Sound of Fashion

Founded in 2008, Surround Sound of Fashion (SSOF) is one of Chicago’s longest-running independent fashion experiences, celebrating the intersection of fashion, music, culture, and storytelling. Known as “The Fashion Motion Picture,” SSOF delivers an immersive runway experience that blends designer collections, live entertainment, and creative visual production into one unforgettable event.  For 18 years, SSOF has provided a platform for emerging and established designers, models, and creatives while creating opportunities for underrepresented talent within the fashion industry. The event has featured appearances and support from notable artists and personalities, including J. Cole, Ciara, Akon, Ne-Yo, Trey Songz, Wale, D-Nice, and Twista.  As a signature cultural event in Chicago, SSOF continues its mission to elevate diverse voices, foster community, and showcase the city’s creative excellence through fashion, music, and innovation while serving as a premier closing celebration of Chicago Fashion Week.
