Stories, a Fashion-in-Motion Event

Experience Chicago Fashion Week’s  unconventional runway event “Stories” by indyvin founder/designer Stephanie Nugent. Doors open at 6:00 pm for pre-show socializing and shopping Fishman’s unique deadstock fabrics. Following the performance, guests will have the exclusive opportunity to purchase the "Stories" clothing collection.

 Committed to ethical and sustainable design, Nugent’s fall 2026 collection features one-of-a-kind garments crafted entirely from repurposed and deadstock materials. She brings a unique voice to Chicago fashion, drawing on a 30-year career in experimental dance theater. Accompanied by live music of composer/violinist Robin Cox, the performance celebrates the dynamic relationships between fashion and embodied expression, featuring a company of professional dancers, performance artists, and models.
