Footwork At Fashion Week: Lines In Motion

Lines in Motion is the debut presentation of an original cut-and-sew collection by STEELO, unveiled through an immersive runway experience that celebrates the rhythm, style, and spirit of Chicago. Blending handcrafted garments with original Chicago footwork choreography, the evening transforms the traditional fashion show into a living performance where movement, craftsmanship, and community exist as one. Inspired by the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) and STEELO's experience traveling the city by bus and train as a footworker, Lines in Motion explores transit not only as a means of transportation, but as a symbol of the connections that unite neighborhoods, cultures, and generations. Featuring original garments worn by both models and dancers, the collection comes to life through motion. Every silhouette is designed to move, every step reveals the intention behind the construction, and every transition echoes the rhythm of Chicago itself.
