Mend with Friends: A Community Repair Workshop

There’s already enough clothing on the planet to last six generations – so let’s keep the items we already own and love in use! Mending extends the life of your garments, saves money, and reduces fast fashion waste. Join us at the Chicago Fair Trade Museum for our monthly mending workshop, where you’ll learn simple hand-repair techniques to keep your favorite pieces out of the landfill. Whether you’re a seasoned stitcher or a total newbie, all are welcome. We’ll provide basic supplies and instruction – just bring something you’d like to repair! Free with a $50 annual membership to Chicago Fair Trade.
