The Fashion Design department at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and Driehaus Museum is pleased to hold a public panel discussion on "The Business of Fashion." With an invited panel of guests from the local Chicago fashion scene to the Global CEO of independent fashion house Akris, we will dive beyond the runway to explore the powerful engine driving fashion forward: business. From branding and supply chain logistics to marketing, finance, and digital innovation, fashion is as much a strategic enterprise as it is an art form. Hosted by the Fashion Department at SAIC and Driehaus Museum, this conversation brings together industry professionals to demystify the economics behind style, empower emerging designers with real-world insights, and celebrate Chicago’s role as a growing fashion capital.
