"Button-Up, Button Down" by Beau McCall

Fashion Outlets of Chicago presents a new rotating exhibition as part of THE COLLECTION: Where Art Meets Fashion, its multifaceted contemporary art program, featuring wearable artworks by acclaimed artist Beau McCall. “Button-Up, Button Down,” located throughout Level Two, features button-embellished vests, aprons, jewelry, a headdress and more. McCall creates each piece by hand-sewing clothing buttons onto upcycled fabrics and materials, addressing themes of beauty, nature, and Black pride. Up through April 30, 2025
